I’m a Black woman and I can’t wait for the “Black Panther” sequel.
This is what I am.
My husband and I have a very small family and the only black man in the household.
I’m in love with the film.
He loves it.
So I’m going to say that right now, but there is a very real possibility that it’s going to be the last film in the franchise that we’ll see from the Black Panther.
The last Black Panther movie was 2015’s “Aquaman,” and this movie will have its own story arc and take place in the same universe.
And, I think, it’s time for this movie to be its own thing.
We don’t need a sequel to the last Black Panther movie.
There are some really talented, talented Black filmmakers out there, and there’s no way that we’re going to have to watch a second movie.
So what are we going to do?
Let’s all just go on with our lives.
That’s the only thing that will save this movie.
But there are other things that I think will be important.
The first is that the new cast is fantastic.
It’s one of the best casts in a Black movie.
I love that they’re Black, they’re not going to let their characters be a token, they don’t care who they’re playing.
They don’t know who they are.
They have this incredible journey together and I’m excited for them to be on screen.
And then there are the people.
There’s this great cast of people, but the other thing that’s really important is the talent.
They are all incredibly talented, and we all have our own personalities, but we all share this journey together.
We’re going through a period of transition.
The only way we’re ever going to get there is if we’re together.
It has to be.
I think the last thing we’re all trying to do is take it one step at a time, because it’s not a linear thing.
This film is going to change the way we see ourselves and the way that people look at us, and that’s why it’s so important that we get out there and get this movie out there.
So yeah, I am excited for this.
But I’m also excited about other things.
I just got a really cool phone call this morning.
I got this really great phone call from my friend who plays Katana, who is the new Black Panther, who said, “You know, we’re not gonna do a ‘Panther’ sequel.
We’ve just decided that we can’t do a Black Panther sequel.”
So I am so grateful that she has that perspective.
I would never have expected it.
I mean, I’m like, well, I don’t even know if I can handle it.
But she’s so passionate about it and so invested in it, and she knows that there are so many great Black actors and actresses in this movie and so many talented filmmakers out here, and I think that’s awesome.
So thank you, thank you very much, and good luck.
We are all looking forward to it.
